The Mirage opened its doors to the world on November 22, 1989, forever changing the Las Vegas Strip. The first true destination resort, The Mirage introduced a new kind of Las Vegas experience. Our fiery Volcano and lobby aquarium rapidly became must-see attractions and master illusionists Siegfried & Roy redefined Strip entertainment. The Mirage became an icon of the 'new' Las Vegas, spurring a multi-billion dollar building boom and becoming the model for many future resorts to come.
Now on the verge of our 20th anniversary, the new Mirage is still one of the hottest, most visited resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.
